Lightning over Mobile
I shot this from my front porch, watching severe weather from a safe distance away. I shot 395 photos of what I hoped was lightning, and this is what I got :-) But it was nice to use the new tripod as much as I did. The sky was completely dark in the frames that didn't include lightning strikes, so the sky is lit entirely by the lightning. That's the new RSA Tower on the left and the formerly tallest building in town, the AmSouth Building, on the right. AmSouth no longer exists, though, so I wonder if they'll change the name.
